Adrianna Dilal and Marcel Volz were named the Spartan Athletes of the Month for April. 

Adrianna Dilal, Softball: 

On the mound, Dilal posted an 8-1 record in nine starts (eleven appearances) and 1 save, with a 1.00 earned run average; giving up 37 hits and 14 runs (9 earned runs), while walking 12 batters and striking out another 61 in 63.0 total innings pitched during the month of April.

Adrianna pitched a complete game no-hitter versus Molloy College (W, 3-0) on April 23rd. The no-no was the first of her collegiate career and the 13th in the 35-year history of the STAC Softball Program (first since 2007 - Jessica Gogatz).

The junior pitcher from Rochester, N.Y. held opposition batters to a .165 batting average and had a 0.78 WHIP during this time period.

At the plate, Dilal hit .267 (8-for-30) with a home run, 2 RBI, 2 runs scored and 2 stolen bases in 14 games.

As a result of her outstanding play, Adrianna was named the East Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week on April 29th.
