Abagaile Kimbrell and Dante Brown were named the Spartan Athletes of the Month for December. 

Abagaile Kimbrell, Women's Indoor Track & Field:

Kimbrell took part in an array of events on the track during the month of December, as she placed second in the 5000 Meter Run (19:17.44) at The College of New Jersey Winter Opener on December 7th, and then took a first place finish in the Mile (5:21.54), and a sixth place finish as part of the Sprint Medley Relay team (4:30.74) at the Wagner College Shootout on December 13th.

The junior runner from Monroe, NY was recognized for her outstanding performances on the track by the East Coast Conference. Kimbrell was named ECC Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week on December 16th.
