Suzanne Clarke and Carl Lorenz were named the Spartan Athletes of the Month for October.

Carl Lorenz, Ice Hockey:

Lorenz led the Spartan defense with a 4.95 Goals Against Average and a .902 Save Percentage during the month of October. Carl played 327 total minutes and went 4-2, only surrendering 27 goals on 275 shots during that span. 

As a result of his terrific play, the junior goalie from Ringwood, NJ was selected as the Metropolitan Collegiate Hockey Conference Defensive Player of the Month on October 30th.
