On Friday afternoon, the Northeast-10 Conference announced their annual Academic Honor Roll for the fall semester of 2019. The St. Thomas Aquinas College Field Hockey team, playing it's first season within the NE-10, had 14 student-athletes named to the honor roll.
The Academic Honor Roll acknowledges the commitment of NE10 student-athletes to excel in the classroom with three designations – Academic Excellence (4.0 GPA), Academic Distinction (3.50-3.99 GPA) and Academic Honors (3.00-3.49 GPA).

In their first season within the Northeast-10 Conference, the Spartans finished with a 10-10 overall record and a 7-7 mark in conference play. The team participated in the NE10 Championship Tournament, where they defeated Adelphi University 2-1 in double overtime in the Quarterfinal round for their first-ever postseason victory.
