The St. Thomas Aquinas College Esports team has announced that they will begin competition in Madden NFL and NBA 2k this spring. These additions bring the esports team's game offerings to five, with continuing competitions in Fortnite, League of Legends and Overwatch. The Madden and NBA 2K competitions will take place through the Collegiate Starleague and each game has the opportunity for gamers to win prizes through the competitions.
Director of Esports Kevin Roth expressed his excitement over the additions saying, "This is an exciting next step as we continue to build and expand our esports program. In just over one year, we have seen our roster more than triple and these two new offerings will allow us to tap into a different section of gamers as we continue to attract these next generation of athletes to STAC."
