Two St. Thomas Aquinas College Esports teams have reached their respective league title games, looking to capture the program's second consecutive championship.

In the NBA 2K21 final, freshman Richard Brady (Highland Falls, N.Y.) competes for the ECAC Championship on Tuesday night (December 7). Brady looks to continue his playoff win-streak as he goes up against Saint Joseph’s University. Richard won his opening round series against New England College, two games to one and swept New England's other 2K squad, 2-0 to advance to the final.

Sophomore Nicholas Shalaba (Clarkstown, N.Y.) will play for the ECC Super Smash Bros. title on Thursday evening (December 9). Shalaba has dominated through the bracket only dropping one game through the entire playoffs while winning nine. He won his quarterfinal and semifinal matches 3-0 and 3-0. Shalaba will battle NYIT's Sebastian Estevez on Thursday to try and take home the programs first-ever ECC Esports Championship.
