Strong Second Half Lifts Setters Over Spartans, 4-0

The St. Thomas Aquinas women's field hockey team lost to Pace University on Tuesday afternoon. The Setters scored three second half goals to extend their lead to 4-0 and secure the win.

Halley Rose led the Setters with five points on two goals and an assist.  Samantha Gray and Paige Predmore each scored for Pace who had fifteen shots on goal.

Morgan Lynd had two shots for the Spartans, one of which was on target but saved by Lesley Sanchez-Alverez.  Jessica Stewart recorded eleven saves for the Spartans.  

STAC will return to action on Saturday when they play the first of two games in New Hampshire at St. Anselm's.  Sunday the Spartans will play at Southern New Hampshire University.
