The St. Thomas Aquinas field hockey team lost 2-1 in overtime on Friday afternoon to Converse University. The Spartans completed their best season finishing 6-11 in just their third season of competition.  

Meghan McCarren's second half goal tied things up and forced the over time session.  McCarren's goal came off an assist from Carley Davin.  The Spartans held a 15-11 shots advantage over the visitors.  Suzanne Clarke recorded eight saves for the Spartans.  

STAC will look to build off this season in 2018, as they will return 21 out of 22 players next year.
