The St. Thomas Aquinas field hockey team lost, 2-1 at Manhattanville on Wednesday afternoon.  A late second half goal gave the host team a one goal lead and the Valiants secured the win. 

Jacqueline Dowling scored the Spartans goal off an assist from Briannah Thorne.  The goal came late in the second half and tied the game 1-1.  Manhattanville's Emily Antinozzi scored the only first half goal and was able to notch her second goal of the game to give the Valiant the win.  

Kaitlyn Gee and Suzanne Clarke shared minutes in goal for the Spartans; with Gee recording five saves and Clarke two.  Kaitlin Halloran had three saves for Manhattanville.  

The Spartans will host St. Anselm's on Sunday at 10:00 am.
