The St. Thomas Aquinas field hockey team lost to Assumption, 3-0 on Sunday afternoon. The Spartans held the visitors scoreless in the first half. Suzanne Clarke had eleven saves for STAC.

The Greyhounds had a 19-2 shots advantage as well as 17-5 on penalty corners.  Briannah Thorne had two shot attempts for the Spartans.  Assumption had three different goal scorers; Courtney Sickel, Sam Tepper and Jenna Graf.

The Spartans will return to action on Wednesday when they host Molloy College at 4:00 p.m.
