The St. Thomas Aquinas field hockey team lost to Kutztown, 4-1 on Saturday afternoon. Taylor Hickey scored the lone goal for the Spartans off an assist from Briannah Thorne.

Kutztown had four different goal scorers with Rachel Dusman and Mackenzie Fuhrman each scoring a goal and adding an assist.  The visitors led 22-2 in shots and 15-4 in penalty corners.  The Spartans goal came at the 65:30 mark as Hickey connected on her first goal of the season.  Suzanne Clarke recorded 14 saves for the Spartans.

The Spartans will return to action tomorrow when they take on Assumption at 1:00 p.m. at home.
