In the game's final seconds the visiting Hawks were awarded a penalty corner, which was taken by Joanna Archambault. Archambault found Chloe Kapsambelis wide open for a shot, which was rifled on net and saved by Spartan netminder Jesse Hohenstein to perserve the shutout.
