The St. Thomas Aquinas golf team finished 3rd after round one of the AIC Invitational. Junior John Casey finished tied for 6th with a first day score of 76. Thomas Linehan and Joe Harney each tied for 20th with an 80 on day one while Chris Fitzpatrick carded an 81. Nick Delango rounded out the Spartan scorers with an 85.
The Spartans are just seven strokes off the 2nd place team, Army and will play round two on Tuesday.
