The St. Thomas Aquinas golf team finished the 2nd round of the NCAA Division II Championship this afternoon shooting a team score of 314.  Mike Gunderson shot a team low 4-over 76 in round two.  Chris Fitzpatrick shot 6-over for his round finishing the day tied for 38th place.

Fitzpatrick shot even par for the back nine with two birdies and two bogey's.  Freshman Joe Harney shot a 79 in day two dropping four strokes from his opening round.  Harney shot even par on the front nine with two birdies and two bogey's.  Thomas Linehan and John Casey shot 9 and 10 over par for the day. 

The Spartans dropped to 18th place in the field of 20.  STAC will compete in round three tomorrow before the field is cut to the top 8 teams.  Lynn University is on top of the field shooting back to back team scores of 219, to give them a 5 stroke lead over CSU-Monterey Bay.
