The St. Thomas Aquinas men's golf team finished 4th out of 15 teams at the Rutgers Invitational on Friday and Saturday. The Spartans finished with a three round team score of 888, which was 12 strokes off the leaders, USC Upstate. Kai Rastetter finished in 13th place with a total of 221 for the event.
Thomas Linehan shot a team low 70 during his second round and finished the event tied for 20th place, shooting; 75, 70, 79. Nick Delango and Chris Gentle each ties for 26th place with a total score of 225. The Spartans were the top Division II team in the group as they were playing amongst a field of 12 Division I schools.
STAC is set to play at the Kiawah Island Invitational held at Cougar Point Golf Course in Kiawah, S.C. on Monday and Tuesday.
