Spartan Golf Ranked Fifth in Golfstat, Seventh in NCAA East Region Polls
The St. Thomas Aquinas College Golf team has recently been ranked fifth in Golfstat and seventh in the NCAA East Region polls respectively.

After finishing the 2018 fall semester ranked eighth in the region, which included first, second, fourth, sixth and seventh place finishes in five invitationals, the Spartans began their spring season with a runner up finish at the Indiana University of PA Browngolf Invitational in Pinehurst, NC and then followed that up with a first place finish at the Dominican College Charger Challenge in Ocean City, MD.

Junior Shkelqim Kukaj is having his best semester of his collegiate career thus far, averaging a score of 74. Kukaj and Freshman Jake Yarmolowitz have earned medalist honors in the teams first two spring events.

St. Thomas Aquinas will return to action on April 13 & 14 when the Spartans participate in the Skidmore College Tim Brown Invitational at Ballston Spa Country Club in New York. The team is looking to advance to the NCAA Atlantic/East Super Regional for a 17th consecutive year, which in 2019 will be held at the Totteridge Golf Club in Greensburg, PA, May 6-8.
