During the first round of play, the team was led by the solid play of Joe Tammaro who posted a round of 73. After slow starts to their rounds, teammates Sean Trapp and Shkelqim Kukaj both managed to fire rounds of 74. Rounding out the team scoring were Jake Yarmolowitz and Norman Viron who shot 76 and 79 respectively. The team’s first round total of 297 was good enough for first place by 7 shots over Concordia College.

During the final round of play the Spartans put on a great display of grit and were able to grind out a team score of 289. Medalist Joe Tammaro fired the low round of the day, shooting a 1-under par 70. Tammaro was in control all day making 5 birdies and 4 bogeys during his final round. Senior Sean Trapp managed to fire a final round 73 after playing his final 6 holes at 4-under par. Sophomore Norman Viron and Junior Jake Yarmolowitz were able to improve from their opening round scores to shoot 72 and 74 respectively in round 2 while Shkelqim Kukaj carded a second round 76.
