The St. Thomas Aquinas men's basketball team lost to C.W. Post, 77-59.  Vincent Johnson had 16 points and 4 assists.  Ra'Shad James and Jamie Blanchard added 12 and 10 points respectively.

The Spartans got off to a 6-1 start behind two 3-pointers, one from James and one from Daniel Skinner.  The Pioneers responded with a 14-2 run.  C.W. Post took a 34-26 lead into the break.  C.W. Post extended their lead to double digits with ten minutes remaining and did not look back. 

The Pioneers had five players in double figures with Nemanja Jokic and Jonathan Kholer each scoring eighteen.  C.W. Post outrebounded STAC 32-27.  Justin Brown led STAC on the boards with five and added nine points. 

The Spartans will be back in action on Wednesday as they host Bridgeport for a 7:30 PM game.
