The St. Thomas Aquinas men's basketball team fell to top ranked Bridgeport, 80-58.  STAC received 21 points and 5 rebounds from sophomore Ra'Shad James.  Vincent Johnson and Justin Brown added 14 and 13 points respectively. 

The Knights got out to a 12-2 run in the opening minutes of play.  STAC responded behind three points from James and two from Brown to bring them within five, 12-7 with 14:15 left.  The Knights rattled off a 13-1 run to put them ahead seventeen and they continued to extend their lead as they held a 50-19 advantage at the break. 

Jermaine Washington led UB with 16 points and dished out 5 assists.  Dave Boykin added 11 points and 4 steals.  Bridgeport beat the Spartans 44-28 on the boards.  Sean Weaver added 5 rebounds for STAC.

The Spartans will be back in action on Wednesday as they travel to Queens for a 7 PM tip.
