The St. Thomas Aquinas men's basketball team lost to Felician College, 81-68. The Spartans had three players score in double figures behind 18 points from Jamie Blanchard and 15 points each from Ra'Shad James and Vincent Johnson.
Felician opened up on a 13-6 run in the opening five minutes of play. The Spartans closed the gap to within four on two occasions behind a jumper by James and Linton Brown. The Golden Falcons continued to push extending their lead to ten holding a 42-32 advantage at the break.
The Golden Falcons went on an 18-2 run to open the second half going ahead, 60-32, behind a layup by Antonine Obery. Obery finished with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Felician took their largest lead as Ethan Kennedy drained a 3-pointer with 8:10 left in the game. Kennedy finished with a game high 26 points.
The Spartans will be back in action on Wedneday as the travel to Molloy College for an ECC contest. STAC will return home for a final game of the winter semester on December 21st as they host LeMoyne College.
