The St. Thomas Aquinas men's basketball team lost to Queens, 81-66.  The Spartans received 19 points and 7 rebounds from Ra'Shad James while Justin Brown added 11 points and 6 boards.

Queens opened the game on a 7-0 run but STAC fought back with an 8-3 run to pull within two, 10-8.  James had six points in the run while Brown had two.  James hit another jumper with 13:07 left in the half to bring the Spartans within one, 13-12.  However the Knights would not allow them to get any closer the rest of the way.  Queens extended their lead to double figures behind a layup and made free throw from Khaleef Allicott with 4:25 remaining in the half.  Chad Williams scored five points in the closing minutes of the half to cut into Queen's lead as STAC went into the break down, 47-36.

Queens continued to build on their lead throughout the second half.  The Spartans struggled from behind the arc shooting only twenty percent to the Knight's sixty percent.  STAC lost the battle on the boards, 34-27.  Sean Weaver added 3 rebounds to go with his 8 points.  Lamonte Lams lead all scorers with 23 points while Allicott added 15 points and 6 rebounds.
