The St. Thomas Aquinas College Ice Hockey team secured its first postseason berth since 2010 with a 7-2 victory over Western Connecticut State University on Saturday evening at Sport-O-Rama Ice Rinks in Monsey, NY.
Stephen Finkel recorded two goals and an assist, Tyler Peterson picked up his first collegiate goal, and Drew Lorenz tallied four assists in the victory. Carter Taylor, CJ Reissner, Luke Broderick and Brian Callaghan also lit the lamp for the Spartans, while Carl Lorenz made 30 saves to run his record to 11-4-1.
