The St. Thomas Aquinas College Ice Hockey team's historic season came to end on Saturday afternoon at the MCHC Semifinals, as the Spartans fell to the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (Kings Point) Mariners 8-4 at Dix Hills Ice Rink on Long Island.
Douglas Harrison recorded a hat trick and Carter Taylor picked up a goal of his own, while Carl Lorenz (L, 0-1) stopped 36 of 42 shots faced in the contest. In addition, Harrison picked up his 100th career collegiate point and Lorenz made his 2,000th career save with STAC.

St. Thomas Aquinas College (13-8-1 Overall, 9-3 MCHC) closes their 2019-2020 campaign, as the MCHC Regular Season Champions. Head Coach Matt Schuster and his staff will now begin to look toward the 2020-2021 season, as the staff will review the current roster and seek additional reinforcements to solidify the team's needs via the recruiting trail.
