Monsey, N.Y. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Ice Hockey team wrapped its 2023-2024 home campaign on Saturday evening, scoring a 6-3 triumph over the United States Coast Guard Academy at Sport-O-Rama Ice Rinks.
STAC improves to 13-5-1 overall following the non-conference clash between the Spartans and Bears.
Conner Suthard, Jason Desalvo, Andrew Fenninger, Nicholas Delia, Joey Camporeale and Jesse Formica each tallied a goal for the maroon and gold. Michael Pippo (W, 8-3-1) got the start in the net for the Spartans and stopped 35-of-38 shots faced.
Prior to the contest between, St. Thomas Aquinas College honored its graduating senior class; Neven Grubic and Greg Drefko with on-ice ceremonies, which included the athletes' families, teammates, coaches and college administrators.
