The St. Thomas Aquinas men's lacrosse team lost to LIU Post, 16-3 on Wednesday afternoon.  Luke Madry scored two goals for the Spartans while Thomas Halloway added a goal and an assist for the game.

The preseason top pick, Pioneers came into the game 0-2 after losing to #4 ranked, Merrimack College and #9 ranked Adlephi University.  The Pioneers held the young Spartan team scoreless for the first two quarters.  Halloway assisted on Madry's first goal which came in the 3rd quarter.  

John Dapolito and Kevin Alvora each assisted the Spartans two goals in the 4th quarter.  Ryan Mello had 19 saves for the Spartans.  The Spartans fall to 0-3 in their inagural season, having opened up with some of the toughest opponents in the region.  STAC will return to action on Sunday when they travel North to visit St. Rose College for a 3:00 p.m. game.
