Spartans Fall to Mavericks, 18-7

The St. Thomas Aquinas men's lacrosse team lost at Mercy, 18-7 on Thursday. Tyler Senatore scored three goals for the Spartans. Ryan Mello recorded 17 saves in the loss.

The Mavericks dominated right from the start opening a 6-1 first quarter and went on to take an 11-2 lead at the break.  The Spartans were held to one goal for each of the first three quarters before Senatore connected on two goals in the 4th.  

Mercy held a 49-24 advantage in shots while winning 27 out of 28 face-offs.

The Spartans play their final home game on Saturday when they host Hampton.
