Men's Soccer Still Going Strong

Earl Connects on Third Career Goal

The STAC men's soccer team won their fourth game in a row 1-0 against Briarcliffe College of Bethpage, NY.  Freshmen striker, James Earl scored the goal off an assist by sophomore Peter O'Malley.  The Spartans are off to one of their best starts under sixth year head coach Graham Brown.

Freshmen goalie Andrew Tartara had another strong outing for the Spartans with six saves in the first half.  Fellow rookie goalie Nicholas Croce came in for the Spartans recording four saves in the second half.  STAC posted its second shut-out of the season while holding its last four opponents to two goals.

STAC looks to keep their winning streak alive as they travel to Chestnut Hill College on Monday.
