Spartans Neal, Yusuff & Nicholson Headline ECC Men's Soccer All-Conference Awards

On Monday evening, the East Coast Conference released its annual Men's Soccer All-Conference awards, and St. Thomas Aquinas had a trio of athletes who were selected for their outstanding work on the pitch this season.

Brad Neal was selected as a First Team All-Conference member. The senior back from Hampshire, England registered 3 goals and an assist in 17 games for STAC, and was an on-field leader on the backend for a mostly young defense corps.

George Yusuff was tabbed a Second Team All-Conference selection, as the sophomore midfielder from Great Yarmouth England tallied 4 goals and 4 assists for the Spartans in 17 games played. George's 37 shots taken registers second on the team behind only teammate Lachlan Wilkinson, who had 50.

Last but certainly not least, Jack Nicholson was chosen as a Third Team All-Conference pick. The senior goalkeeper from Totton Southampton, England put on a spectacular season in the net for the maroon and gold. Jack posted a 10-5-1 record with a 1.44 goals against average and a .672 save percentage, with 5 shutouts. His ability to also provide offense this season has certainly not gone unnoticed, as Nicholson picked up a game tying goal vs. UDC and an assist on another tally against Holy Family University this year.
