Spartans Drop Spring Opener at Adelphi, 6-3

The St. Thomas Aquinas men's tennis team lost their first match of the 2013 Spring season to Adelphi, 6-3.  Inigo Aldekoa and Mathieu Amyot paired up for a second flight doubles match win, 9-8 (10-2).  Both freshmen recorded singles wins with Aldekoa picking up a 6-3, 6-1 victory and Amyot winning his match, 6-3, 6-0.

The Spartans will return to action on Saturday, February 16th when they face NYIT at the Tenafly Racquet Club.  Match is slated for 7 p.m.
