Spartans Fall to Tough Queens Team, 8-1

The St. Thomas Aquinas men's tennis team fell 8-1 against top conference opponent, Queens College.  

The Knights improved to a perfect 4-0 record with the win.  The Spartans won the third flight doubles match with Andreu Ferragut and Enej Hasicevic.  

The Knights then won all six singles flights with Mendez needing three sets to beat Stahl (6-3, 3-6, 10-2) at the top pairing. All other five matches required just two sets for QC to earn the win. 

The Spartans will return to action on Friday when they take on University of the District of Columbia at 10:30 a.m.
