TEMPE, AZ – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released its National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) Division II Team Preseason Rankings this week, with both St. Thomas Aquinas College men’s and women’s teams attaining regional rankings.
The men’s team currently sits at fifth in the East Region – their highest ranking in program history. The Spartans are 3-0 heading into the spring semester, where they will take on eight of the nine remaining ranked teams as they chase their first ever conference championship.
On the women’s side, the Lady Spartans are tied for the tenth-ranked team in the East Region. They tied a program record with their tenth win of the season, and are next in action on March 10 as they head to Orlando, FL for their spring break trip. This is the first time in program history that the women’s team has been ranked.
