Spartan Recruit Report: Men's Tennis Adds Pair of Recruits to Talented Lineup for 2020-21

An unblemished regional season was unfortunately cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic for the St. Thomas Aquinas Men's Tennis team this spring, which saw STAC go 7-2 before their campaign was interrupted. The Spartans graduated three seniors; Enej Hasicevic, Jose Robles and Luke Taplin, while two newcomers combining with four regionally-ranked players should help push the squad to the top of the region in 2020-2021.

Here is a look at the future STAC Class of 2024 alphabetically.

Ivan Laiz Campillo

Ivan Laiz Campillo: La Orotava, Spain

Coach Capell on Laiz: "Ivan is an absolute grinder who's game fits really well with our program. He is exciting to watch and plays with tremendous passion and should be a spark plug from Day 1."

Lennart Lehmann

Lennart Lehmann: Krefeld, Germany

Coach Capell on Lehmann : "Lenny is a big time competitor who should be in the mix for the top of the lineup as a freshman. He is the next in a long line of talented Germans that we've had, and hopefully he can make an impact within the conference and the region straight away."
