The St. Thomas Aquinas softball team lost a hard fought 1-0 game in extra innings, before falling 6-2 in the second game of the day.  

The Lions Ashley Fedor hit an RBI single to score Sarah Rambo and give the guest a 1-0 lead in the top of the 8th.  Julie Sosnicki had six strike outs in the loss.  The Spartans left three stranded off of three hits. 

In game two, Molloy opened a 6-0 lead through 4 innings.  Alyssa Chelak hit a 2 RBI single in the bottom of the 4th scoring Ashley Lagrosa and Amanda Schweitzer.  Colleen Borum had four strike outs for the Spartans.

STAC returns to action on Saturday when they host Philadelphia University for a noon double header.
