St. Thomas Aquinas College's Dante Brown was named the East Coast Conference Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week on Monday, after the Spartans competed in the Southern Connecticut State University Elm City Challenge on Friday and Saturday.

Brown won both the 55 meter (6.48) and long jump (7.07m) at the Elm City Challenge. He also helped STAC to a second place finish in the 4x400m relay in a time of 3:28.39. Dante’s marks in both the long jump and 4x400m relay are ECC season-highs.

The Spartans return to action at the Wagner College Shootout on January 4th at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, NY.
