Spartans and Lady Spartans Compete at TCNJ Indoor Invitational
After winning at the Spartan Invitational on Friday, St. Jacob Diodonet came back the very next day to take 2nd place in the 400 with a time of 47.76 at the TCNJ Lions Indoor Invitational at the Armory in New York City.  Saint was the top Division II runner in the 400 with his time, as well as being currently ranked 5th overall in Division II and is currently ranked 20th overall between Division I,II,III and NJCAA.  Dante Brown was the top Division II jumper in the meet as well, with a jump of 6.98m (22'11) and was 4th overall in the meet. 
 
Newest member of the Spartan women's squad, Ruby Pekin-Schlicht, who arrived from Australia just last week, competed in her first indoor meets this past weekend and took 9th place in the High Jump (an event she has not competed in over a year) with a leap of 1.50 (4"11).
 
St. Thomas Aquinas College returns to action on Friday, January 18th, when the Spartans compete in the NYC Gotham Cup at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, NY.
