St. Thomas Aquinas College's Dante Brown was named the East Coast Conference Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week on Monday, after the Spartans competed in The College of New Jersey Winter Opener this past Saturday at the Armory in New York City.
Brown finished in second place in the long jump at the TCNJ Winter Open with a distance of 7.29m/23'11". His mark is best in the ECC so far this season and was also an NCAA Provisional mark.
The Spartans will return to action at the Wagner College Shootout on Friday, December 13. Events begin at 2pm at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, NY.
