St. Thomas Aquinas College's Dante Brown was named the East Coast Conference Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week on Monday, after the Spartans competed in the Fastrack National Invitational last Friday at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Staten Island.
Brown finish tied for second place in the long jump with Georgian Court’s Breen with a leap of 7.23 meters (23'8.75"), good for an NCAA provisional mark.
The Spartans now begin preparations for the 2020 East Coast Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships, which take place on Saturday, March 22nd at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex. Events begin at 5pm.
