The St. Thomas Aquinas College Track and Field team continued their indoor campaign at the Ramapo College Opener, within the friendly confines of the 168th Street Armory in New York City.

On the day, for the men's squad, Aidan Russell picked up first place finish in the 5000 meter run in a time of 15:05.69, DeAndre Smith took first place in the High Jump with a jump of 2.01m (6'7"), and Dante Brown scored a second place finish in the 200 meter dash in a time of 22.28.

On the women's side of the ledger, Gabriella Mott blew by her opponents in the 5000 meter run to pick up a first place finish in a time of 18:59.71, Christina Maretzo took a second place finish in the 1000 meter run in a time of 3:02.18 and Abagaile Kimbrell picked up a second place finish in the Mile run in a time of 5:19.63.

St. Thomas Aquinas will return to action at the Boston University Terrier Classic on Saturday and Sunday, January 24th and 25th. The 2-day event will be held at the Boston University Track & Tennis Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
