The St. Thomas Aquinas College Track and Field team returned to action Friday, after a one week hiatus, at the University of Albany Winter Classic, held at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Staten Island.

Outstanding Spartan performances on the day included; Quazier Dailey's second place finish in the 60 Meter Dash Qualifying in a time of 6.98 and DeAndre Smith's first place finish in the High Jump with a leap of 2.05 meters (6'8.75") and Dante Brown's first place finish in the Long Jump with a leap of 7.39 meters (24'3").

The Spartans return to action on Valentine's Day (Feb. 14th), when they take part in the Fastrack National Invitational. The event will be held at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, NY.
