The St. Thomas Aquinas College Track and Field team kicked-off its 2021 outdoor campaign in Jersey City, NJ at the Saint Peter's University Peacock Invitational.
Headlining the performances for the men were: Matt Tina's second place finish in the 3000 Meter Run in a time of 9:15.67 and the first place finish of the 4x100 Meter Relay Team (Dante Brown, Quazier Dailey, Jaren Scott, Elizah Gordon) in a time of 43.96. On the women's side of the ledger, Madison Roth took a second place finish in the 800 Meter Run, finishing in 2:28.56, the first and second place finishes of Abagaile Kimbrell (11:04.48) and Skylar Moreno (11:30.99), respectively, in the 3000 Meter Run and the 4x400 Meter Relay Team of Kayla Cobelli, Christina Maretzo, Skylar Moreno, Madison Roth picking up a second place finish, crossing the timeline at 4:30.78.
STAC will next compete at the East Stroudsburg University All-American Meet on Saturday, April 17.
