Dallas, Pa. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Men's and Women's Track & Field teams continued their outstanding spring campaign on Tuesday afternoon at the Misericordia University Twilight meet.
On the day, the STAC men scored a first place finish, while the Spartan women took third.
Headlining the outstanding performances for the men's squad, Matt Tina took a first place finish in the 10,000 meter run, in a time of 33:40.80. The time is a new school record in the event, eclipsing the previous record which was set by Michael Galonski in 2011.
On the women's side of the ledger, Abagaile Kimbrell broke her own STAC record (set earlier this season) in the 5,000 meter run, crossing the finish line at 18:24.44.
STAC next competes at the East Stroudsburg University All-American Meet on Saturday, April 23 at Gregory Douds Field At Eiler-Martin Stadium in East Stroudsburg, PA.
