STAC Track & Field Competes in Prestigious Penn Relays
Philadelphia, Pa. - On Thursday and Friday, the St. Thomas Aquinas College Track & Field teams participated in the 2023 Penn Relays at the historic Franklin Field. The Spartans sent its best and brightest stars to the City of Brotherly Love for both relay and field events over two days in Philadelphia.
 
Among the outstanding finishes for the maroon and gold were the top 10 finishes of both the men's and women's 4x400 meter relay teams. On the women's side, the team of Skylar Moreno, Megan Murphy, Emma Neil and Isabella Esposito placed sixth, finishing in a time of 4:34.48. Meanwhile, the men's squad of Alex Quillan, Charlie Moore, Christan Watson and Andrew Drescher finished eighth, crossing the timeline at 3:35.31.
 
STAC returns to action on Thursday, May 4 (9:00 a.m.) at the East Coast Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The postseason meet is hosted by Roberts Wesleyan University on the Redhawks campus in Rochester, N.Y.
