Staten Island, N.Y. - The St. Thomas Aquinas College Women's Bowling team took part in the Wagner College Winter Invite on Sunday at Rab's Country Lanes in Staten Island. The Spartans went 0-3 in the single-day tournament, finishing with a total pinfall of 3,539, averaging 141.6 per game.
In traditional play, STAC fell to Saint Francis College (N.Y.), 891-715 and Wagner College, 929-714. The Spartans also posted a score of 681 in its bye match.
Individually, Ashley Sena (Fr., Garnerville, N.Y.) was the top finisher for the maroon and gold, recording 856 total pins (171.20 average) and placing 6th overall.
St. Thomas Aquinas returns to action on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the Westchester Community College Viking Classic. The one-day event will take place at the Nutmeg Bowl in Fairfield, Conn.
