Buttafuoco finished her final home game in style scoring five goals while Schmidt played a hard fought game for STAC, including some key defensive saves.

Freshmen Genevieve Stickney and Alexis Serras each scored 4 goals in their collegiate debut, with Stickney adding two assists as well. Freshmen goal keeper Stephanie Nelson recorded 11 saves for the Lady Spartans.
On Saturday, the St. Thomas Aquinas College athletic department hosted its 4th Annual Take a Kid to the Game Day event. The day started with a free basketball clinic in which children from the local community had the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the game from the college athletes.
Last season, the St. Thomas Aquinas College women's basketball team won the ECC regular season title, while Goldey-Beacom took home the CACC championship. The teams square off at Aquinas Hall Tuesday evening at 5:30.
