The St. Thomas Aquinas women's lacrosse team beat Holy Family, 13-7 on Thursday afternoon.  Today's game honored the final home game for STAC's four seniors; Kelly Moresi, Cassie Micholetti, Margaret Sharp and Becky Torres.  With the win the Lady Spartans finished with a 7-0 undefeated home record. 

Sharp got off to a quick start scoring two of her four goals in the opening five minutes.  Katherine Borriello scored a goal off a free position shot in between Sharp's goals and STAC took an early 3-0 lead.  Sharp added one more first half goal off a free position shot at the 15 minute mark.  Holy Family's, Paige Settar responded with a goal of her own before the break.  

Samantha Lowney opened the second half scoring for STAC followed by a goal from Kellie Kucinski. Kucinski added 3 goals while Genevieve Stickney added 2 goals in the second half.  Ruth Pluviose also added a goal off a Stickney assist.  Kaitlyn Lonergan had 12 saves in the win.

STAC improves to 11-3 overall and will face Molloy College on Saturday.
