The St. Thomas Aquinas women's lacrosse team beat the University of Bridgeport, 8-7 in triple overtime on Saturday afternoon. Samantha Lowney scored 5 goals for the Lady Spartans including the game winning goal in the third overtime session. Margaret Sharp scored the other three goals for STAC and Kaitlyn Lonergan had 7 saves in goal.
STAC has improved to 3-0 with the win. The Lady Spartans will return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Wilmington, DE for a non-Conference game.
