The St. Thomas Aquinas women's lacrosse team opened the 2014 season with a 17-4 road win. Margaret Sharp scored 5 goal and had 5 assists to lead the charge for the Lady Spartans.  Genevieve Stickney and Kellie Kucinski each had 5 goals while Samantha Lowney and Alexis Serras each chipped in one.

Stickney started the scoring off an assist from Sharp.  Georgian Court evened things out but then it was all STAC as four different scorers contributed to a 7-0 run.  STAC held an 11-3 lead at the break and outscored the Lions 6-1 in the second half.  

Kaitlyn Lonergan recorded 12 saves for STAC.  The Lady Spartans will play Nyack College on Saturday.
