The St. Thomas Aquinas women's lacrosse team beat Roberts Wesleyan 10-9 on Saturday afternoon.  Caroline Finnen scored 5 goals for the Spartans and Jennifer Farrell added 3 goals and 2 assists.  

The Spartans got on the scoreboard first with a goal from Danielle Heady off a free position shot.  Finnen added a goal just a few minutes later off an assist from Jennifer Farrell.  Roberts Wesleyan scored four unanswered goals, three of them coming from Cassley Jackowski.  

Finnen attacked again with back to back goals to tie the game but the visitors finished the half off in their favor added two more goals to take a 6-4 lead.  

The Spartans dominted the second half scoring the first three goals of the half; two coming from Farrell.  The Spartans outscored the Redhawks 6-3 in the second half to secure the victory.  STAC held a 27-19 edge in shots.  

Laura Delorenzo had 7 saves in the win.  The Spartans will take on Molloy next Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
