The St. Thomas Aquinas women's lacrosse team beat UDC, 17-5 on Saturday afternoon. Caroline Finnen had 5 goals in the win.
The Spartans dominated the first half outscoring the Firebirds, 12-3. The Spartans had eight different goal scorers in the game as they held a 34-18 advantage in shots. Alyson Brennan and Jennifer Farrell each had 2 goals and 2 assists while Danielle Heady and Erin Sleurs added 2 goals and 1 assist.
Angela Costanzo added two goals while Emily Glennon and Gabrielle Di Fusco each scored one. Laura Delorenzo picked up the win with three saves in goal.
