The St. Thomas Aquinas women's lacrosse team beat Caldwell, 17-9 on Thursday afternoon. Caroline Finnen had 6 goals and 2 assists.  Alyson Brennan added 3 goals and 2 assists.  

The Cougars were on the scoreboard first notching the first two goals of the game however the Spartans dominated the first half 7-4.  Finnen scored the Spartans first three goals of the game and then added two more before the half was over.  Danielle Heady and Jennifer Farrell each added a goal for the Spartans.  

The Spartans continued their strong attck in the second half outscoring the home team 10-5.  Erin Sleurs and Emily Glennon each added two second half goals.  Farrell and Heady chipped in their second goals for the game in the second half and Alyson Brennan added three.  

The Spartans had 39 shots to the Cougars 20.  Laura Delorenzo had four saves in the win.  STAC will host Bridgeport on Saturday.
